Cookware

blender

Checked against the ingredient list for ten allergens: milk, egg, fish, crustaceans, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, mustard, soy and gluten. Brands vary, so read the label on anything new to you.

Method

  1. Wash the neem and tulsi leaves well.
  2. Blend with 100ml water until the leaves break down entirely.
  3. Strain twice through muslin. Any leaf fragment left in will make it worse.
  4. Stir in the honey, lemon and pepper. Drink in one go; it does not improve with sipping.

Storage

Same day. Neem juice darkens and turns harsher within hours.

Times, yields, allergens and nutrition are guidance. Use your own judgement on doneness and on storing. More in About.
