Ingredients

- 15 fresh leaves Tulsidried tulsi works at half the quantity
- 20g fresh, sliced Ginger
- 4 peppercorns, cracked Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Honeystirred in off the heat, not into boiling liquidoptional
- a squeeze Lemonoptional

Method
- Bring 300ml water to the boil with the ginger and peppercorns.
- Lower the heat and simmer ten minutes, until the water has taken colour and reduced by about a third.
- Take off the heat, add the tulsi leaves and cover. Leave five minutes.
- Strain into two cups. Stir in the honey and lemon once it has stopped steaming hard.
Storage
Best fresh. It will reheat once without much loss.
